The King's Table began as a vision to show love and kindness to those that are hurting as King David sought out someone from the house of King Saul to show kindness to and made a place at his table for the lame grandson of his enemy because King David loved his enemies son Jonathan. Therefore, Mephibosheth took his place at the king's table.
