Heber Knudson, Owner

Heber Knudson is a strong man of faith that has a heart to serve various populations and show the love of Christ to them through his works. Heber has overcome many obstacles throughout his journey and is uniquely equipped to assist others in overcoming those obstacles as well. Heber has a diverse background that allows him to come alongside others. Heber is a living testimony to healing and resilience through a loving God that meets us where we are at... but does not leave us there. Heber has walked through incarceration and addiction and experienced healing through a relationship with Jesus. Heber and his wife of ten years have two children together and he is a stepfather to two adult sons.

Heber's heart is to open his doors to those who have been hurt, shamed, addicted, traumatized, and abandoned and give them a place of honor at the King's Table.

Rachel Knudson, LPC Owner

Rachel is a Biblical, Christ-centered counselor that strive to elevate God's word above everything personally and professionally. Rachel received her Associates of Arts in Paralegal Studies at Phoenix Career College and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice at University of Phoenix. She went on to earn a Masters in Christian Counseling at Grand Canyon University. She has experience working with adult and adolescents in behavioral health settings where she has had the privilege to provide care for clients that have experienced significant trauma, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, addiction, interpersonal relationship struggles, self-esteem and body image issues, and traumatic brain injuries. Rachel also specializes in working with sex-offenders. Through Scarlet Cord Counseling, Rachel provides counseling for adults in behavioral health facilities and in the community with a focus on addiction, sex offender population, and probation/parole directed clients. Her goal in therapy is to come alongside those entrusted to her care and help them to realize that healing and growth is available to them. Her goal is to honor and recover from the past, heal in the present, and look toward the future. Rachel is a certified trauma therapist through the Trauma Institute International and a certified sex offender treatment provider. Rachel is also a member in good standing of the Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers. She is an eclectic therapist who is skilled in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She also utilizes trauma informed care and feedback informed therapy. She believes that the past does not define you. The blood of Christ shows us that we are worthy of healing and redemption through Him.
